Been around since page 12. Checking back more or less regularly even when there was a hiatus.
Great to see you always coming back to this. I've seen too many great projects wither away when the artists lost interest or had to stop working on it temporarily for other reasons.

Actually, it makes complete sense. In a high-stress situation like that, many of your body's chemicals are getting pumped into you, double-time. The big ones are, of course, adrenaline and various hormones. Thus, the big damn kiss either before or after a climactic battle.
