Single panel pages like this are, I admit, something of an indulgence. They give the writer a bit of a break and let the artist draw something at a scale that doesn't cramp their hands so much, trying to fit tons of details inside a teeny tiny panel.

Still, Hacker and Sniper are looking pretty damn badass there.

ManoftheSea: Keith's a veteran, so I'll let him explain his choices when it comes to how much finger Sniper puts on her trigger. Though I suspect he'll blame the horrible cold he's been stuffed up with for two weeks now...

Re: finger on the trigger

I'm gonna guess "it looks better to novices that way and it's easier to draw."

Thanks for the direct response in the blurb!

Honestly, I figured as much, that it was better for art than realism. Thanks for making the comic!

Yeah, sometimes implying an action, especially something as subtle as a trigger pull can be difficult within the scope of a single frame, so I opted to show a sharper finger bend, to show off the idea that she's just pulled the trigger. Sometimes exaggeration helps!

Is this before or after Baron Sir's raid?

If it's before, then i have to reluctantly accept that Sniper has to survive this mission.

This takes place after Baron Sir's raid. As previously indicated by the J, it's actually concurrent with Chapter 6 when Kludge, William, Mandrake and Melody head to Four of Coins to track down this very same pirate ship.

Why do you seem to not want Sniper to survive?

I disapprove of hired killers.

At least hired killers who have no qualms about going in intending to commit a massacre.

I also can hardly wait for the horrifyingly slow and agonising death of Bangladesh Dupree, who would do this sort of thing even if nobody was paying her, just for fun...
