Guest post by "the leaking pen" I have always very much oriented on facial expressions and body language more than most, so I have to say that the closeups were AWESOME. You could read not only the emotions that each were projecting, but little hidden hints about inside thoughts, and I love it when that comes through in art. That follows through in the expressions in the next comics in this arc that are up as well.
That said... The depth of field and framing of the last panel was good, but the body postures... and the postures in the next couple... are kind of, i dunno, static? Not sure how to put it, but they feel like drawings taken from static poses, not from stills taken from a moving scene? If that makes sense?
